The private dining room at Niku Steakhouse consists of both plush booth seating and sturdy chairs. We feature two large wooden tables that seat 6 comfortably, with a total of 14 guests maximum.

Entertain your guests in a cozy atmosphere embellished with a beautiful Japanese tapestry, and also a glass wine Cuvée that peers through the dining room, into our impressive wood fire, Binchotan Charcoal Grill.

Private dining options at Omakase include a 14 seat sushi bar and optional table seating for 4 additional guests, tucked away from the bustle of San Francisco’s SOMA neighborhood behind shoji screen doors, the restaurant’s minimalist interior sets the tone for a soothing space with a touch of rusticity.

Entertain your guests with the unique opportunity to watch as dishes unfold before your eyes. Separated from the diner by only a low cedar wood counter, Chef Yu and his team are active participants in their guests’ experience.

Dumpling Time Thrive City

Our private dining room at Dumpling Time Thrive City, located in the courtyard of the new Chase Center, seats up to 28 in a playful, casual atmosphere. Street-art inspired murals by John Felix Arnold III and neon signage give this Dumpling Time a vibrant, urban feel and pay homage to Asia’s night markets and street vendor culture. The room is complete with a state of the art karaoke machine for you and your guests to enjoy. Our offerings at Thrive City include American Wagyu Fried Rice, Dungeness Crab Garlic Noodles, Scallop Siu Mai and Pork Ribs and are not available at the Design District locations. Dumpling Time Thrive City also offers a full bar with cocktails in addition to beer and wine. The beverage program emphasizes tequila, vodka, and gin offerings.
